Toxic Substances Control Act

The Safe Chemicals Act of 2011 would reform the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).

Take action now at HealthyStuff.org to urge your Senator to co-sponsor the Safe Chemicals Act of 2011.

Why we need to reform TSCA:

Since it was passed in 1976, TSCA has failed to protect the health of our families and natural resources. There are over 80,000 chemicals produced and used in the U.S. but only 200 have been tested for health and safety. Many of the chemicals in our everyday household products have been linked to serious health conditions including cancer, reproductive problems, and cognitive impairments. The Safe Chemicals Act would improve chemical safety and protect the health of our families.
