About the Citizen Science Corps
What is the Citizen Science Corps?
The Citizen Science Corps goal is to build a working collaboration between everyday citizen scientist and researchers and organizations working on emerging environmental health issues. The Corps helps with connect citizens in a meaningful way with ongoing scientific research on environmental health issues and science-related policy.
Specific goals include:
- Build an understanding, through participation, of the science behind current and emerging environment health issues
- Engage citizen scientist in environmental and science-based policy efforts
- Connect citizens scientists to cutting edge research and researchers from Michigan and throughout the world
- Contribute to building a better understanding of environmental health threats facing our communities.
